Awww, a kitty! You took your Sideshow Frodo to the beach? You are intrepid! I keep thinking I'll take mine out to make him pose for a few things, but I keep worrying his little tiny non-washable looking clothes might get dirty. I have no qualms about taking Super Posable Frodo out for location shoots, however. ;)

I know--such an expensive toy! But I figure what's the good of a toy if you can't play with it? And sand doesn't stain. Will have those pics up soon on my LJ.

When you do, Lavender, please email me a link. I love clever photo shoots starring the dolls and Frodo action figures. I'm sure you've seen the Frodo and Sam [dolls] out on an adventure on Sideshow's site, which is great. If not, I'll find the link for you.

The reason I'd like a link is that I'm going out of town for almost nine days starting Saturday, and I don't always go back over all the f-list in a careful way when I get back. (We're visiting my mom out east, and she has no internet.)

Here's my email, just in case. If you lose this comment, it's on my User Info page, too.

Will do gladly. I have seen the SideShow one. The slashy skits abandonada has done with the 6" action figures at plastictown is still the best of them all.

I forget if you said where in the DC area you're staying, but if you haven't been, you might like to check out my favorite hobbity restaurant in the area if you get time--you'll enjoy the very Green Dragon-ish decor. If you ever have a long enough stay out here, we'll have to meet up.

Thanks for the rec, Lavender! I doubt we'll make it to the restaurant. When we go to VA we rarely see anything except my mother's house and the insides of the stores or doctor's offices I take her to. She's still fun at 85 but very arthritic and can't get around much at all, even in her own house. So mostly we stay home and watch her favourite TV shows with her, make her nice little meals, share cocktails, sleep early, etc.
