I can't comment on that particular scene, because I don't think I've seen it. I only have the ROTK EE - the rest are the theatrical versions.

I will however, comment that those colours are particularly vibrant. As well as the bright colours of the costumes, I noticed that the green (moss? creepers?) on the trees really stands out.

Trust you with your eye for nature and its beauty to notice that gorgeous moss.

You've NEVER seen the EE of FotR???? You should rent it, Maewyn, even if you can't or don't want to buy it. It's the best of all the EE's. They only added about 15 minutes of material (30-something to TTT's EE and 40--something to RotK's), but it's all excellent, not only as snippets, but in the way they round out the film to further greatness. I'd lend you mine if it would play on your machine, but I'm betting that discs made for U.S. machines won't work on yours. Isn't Australia a different region or something? If you can play it, I'd be happy to send you the set to watch.

Thank you for your generous offer. :-)

However, you're right - your DVDs are Region 1, Australia's are Region 4 (and never the twain shall meet).

I'll have to rent one if I want to watch the extra bits. I'll do it one day!

What a shame, Maewyn. I found some great deals on [U.S.] Amazon for copies of it; I was thinking of sending you one, I love it so much. But they are not going to work on your player for sure. WHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!1
