But wasn't that cool about how the real person in the engraving Jan bought was a scholar of exotic languages? I almost shouted out loud when I read it. It seemed all the more "meant" that she should find that print. And in the Parson print, that it was raining, and that he should be knocking on a wooden door got me in a similar way.

This was so fitting - I squeed a little myself, and thought; There is proof everywhere of the decendents of the Elves - Frolijah for instance. :-)

He's looking awfully dishy these days. I had to save two dozen hi-res shots that have been on "Elijah_finds" in his new hair and beard from the Happy Feet press conference (argyle sweater, classical-portrait poses). I see an "Elizabethan Gentleman" or two in EW's manip future. Not any time soon, though.

I have the patience of a saint ;-)

I have been savouring the delicious photo’s of Mr Wood (Potential Elizabethan Gentleman) at “Elijah_finds” Gah!!!! He is knock-out gorgeous. Thank you for pointing me in that direction.

((((Hugs))))

Yes, "knock-out gorgeous" is not an exaggeration. I am used to his looking that stupefyingly gorgeous as Frodo but not as himself. How does Pamela not touch his face, sighing, all the time? I guess one gets used to it, just like one gets used to the faces of friends or lovers who are rather ugly. Eventually they just seem like them. I don't know how I'd ever get past the shock of his beauty, though -- which is why I'd make a poor match for him, hypothetically speaking.
