Thanks, Chickelegs, for commenting, or I would never have noticed this. After some complainant got some of my Art Travesties taken down from Photobucket, I had to re-do everything, moving some of it over to another album at Scrapbook. I hadn't realised I didn't re-do this link.

Yes, the Bacchus is beautiful. I did do a manip of Bacchus, linked above, but one day I would like to re-do it. I made it with what turns out to be a poor-quality copy of the painting. Since then I've found a much better copy on-line. It cries out to be redone with the better painting.

I was wondering which you meant, Chickenlegs, since there are two Saint Sebastian manips. Actually, I find the Reni St.S. more erotic (the one I called "The Prisoner of Love", tee hee, but the Del Cairo (St. S. being tended by St. Irene) more moving.

Thank you, Chickenlegs! Your praise is a pleasure to receive. You sound like you know your art. About half the Art Travesties have been featured in LJ entries. There is a table for them in the links. If you are a fan of art, they can be more fun than just looking through the album, since the entries usually link the original paintings, talk a little about the artist, etc. I didn't do as much of that when I was first presenting them, not realising how many people were interested in seeing that sort of thing.
