THANKS!

I was thinking that if I sent people to your page there would be more there for them to see! You have all kinds of great stuff.
I will put it on my page if you would rather. Which would be good?

It's fine if you link it here, but don't forget to come by periodically to see if there are any comments.
I have found that many more people look at something, even favourably, than atually comment.
Therefore, it doesn't mean you'll get that many more comments one way or the other.
But I'll bet a lot more people look. People like clicking open visual art;
it's so quick to see whether you like it or not.

The other thing you can do is post the pics right in hobbit_art, as an lj entry there.
Once you have friended the site, you can prepare your LJ entry as usual, but then you can chose
"Post to--" and select hobbit_art.

Here's a link to my "Update Journal" page, which will look just like yours.

http://www.livejournal.com/update.bml

Go to the bottom below the box where you enter the text and on the bottom tool bar thing,
it says "Post to", just to the left of "Update Journal."
You can select the other site from the list, and then it will post to their journal,
not to yours. Just remember to follow their instructions on the User Info page.

I've been thinking about it, and I think that posting directly into hobbit_art might be the best way to go for you --
I don't mean writing a post and then giving a link to your journal, but actually posting the pic right there
(behind a cut, of course, per their rules). That way the post would truly be your own and you'd get the comments
and the notifications of reply, yet you wouldn't have to change your own journal from private to public.

Whaddaya think?

If I don't respond, Taerie, it's because I've gone away for the weekend. I'm driving away Sat. a.m.,
until Monday afternoon, to see an old friend of mine who lives across the state from me.
