Well, it's good to know your boobs are intact at this time!

Actually, the boat was not rough at all. Only when we went over someone else's wake did it bounce, which I and Rachel thought quite fun. My brother drove, mostly, and my husband leaned/sat in the cushy first mate's chair abreast of him, and Rachel and I stood behind them holding onto the grip bars behind their seats feeling like chariot racers in Ben Hur. It we felt like it, we could sit on the back seat, very cushy, and still hold onto the grip bars. The Potomac is such a broad river below Washington D.C., looking at scenery is fine going at high speeds. Like driving down a highway in a very broad, flat valley.

Here's a link to a boat like my brother's. I think it gets 1 mile to a gallon, seriously. Hardly a proper toy in today's fuel-starved world. But he bought it just before the gas crisis got intense.

Rosamunda's feet in the last chapter? Ch. 14? I don't think her insteps were getting a work out in that one. Bilbo even thought it seemed as if the soles of her feet were pressed together somewhere under Frodo. I believe you may be thinking of Ch. 12, with "hanging onto his mare of choice" Frodo. (Possibly my favourite of all their erotic interludes.)

Is there such a thing as Lavendar Paste for soothing rubs? If anyone would know, you would. Igraine wrote a ficlet last week in which Sam gives Frodo a rub with a mash of strawberries (his feet, but Sam leaves the hair on Frodo's insteps). It was extremely well-done, I thought. That Igraine; it's wonderful the way she can be so sensuous, yet so intelligent in her writing at the same time.

Mechtild, thank you for the link. I was in a bit of a rush on Friday, hubby was coming through the door (...? ) so I could not answer all your questions.

Firstly your brother's boat is fantastic. It makes the one we had look like a toy. Ours was very small, hence all that bouncing around.

There is something that I use 'Lavender Salve' from Rose and Co. Very useful on dry lips, sores and scratches. I love their presentation theme. Twenties-flapper.

"hanging onto his mare of choice" Frodo.

Now that’s the kind of bouncing around I approve of :-D

I opened your link. I loved the animation of the lady walking down the street with her dog wearing a loincloth (her, not the dog).
