...I need Bandwench or Ariel to come put fur on their feet, though. That's beyond my skill to do convincingly.

Perhaps Frodo wore the hair off his feet. :D

You probably know why it is said that being bald is a sign of virility. It’s all that rubbing of the head in the pillow. I suppose the same could be said of bald feet in a hobbit’s case.

But why is the hair worn off the lass's insteps? Is Frodo that keen on rear-entry? Or do they spend that much time kneeling? *smirk*
