Oh sigh!

So beautiful Mechtild.

Looking at the last in the series I thought: He must be made of Angel-kissed atoms.

Oh, KILL me with that last frame. Would you send this hobbit on a mission of highest import?

YES.

Just to let you know, two posters below picked up on your "angel-kissed" image, echoing and seconding it. It really suits.

See? Taerie said it again in even stronger words below:

Yes.. Frodo should hire me. He can afford what I would ask for wages, I think.
Nobody in the Shire would slander him after I had picked up and chucked a few of them in the Water.
I loved what Este said! It is the best description of that face I have ever read.. in so few words.

Screencaps of divine beauty, Mechtild! Thank you so much for making and sharing them. :-*

Este's "Angel-kissed atoms" image is so *brilliant*.
It brought a poem by Ted Hughes to my mind which I tweaked without further ado - apologies to Mr. Hughes and for my feeble attempt at English poetry -

Lineage

In the beginning were Angel-kissed atoms
Who begat blue Eye
Who begat Alabaster Skin
Who begat pointed Ear
Who begat curled Hair
Who begat furry Foot
Who begat Hope
Who begat Angst
Who begat Courage
Who begat Sweetness
Who begat Tenderness
Who begat Beauty
Who begat Everything
Who begat Always
Always Always Always

Who begat Frodo

Longing for Light
Love, Care
Anything

Shattering ravishing beauty in Eru's Creation

A lovely poem Whiteling.

I think you tweak very good English *there's a pun in there somewhere* :-D

Got the pun, hon.
(I rhyme in English and in German, but never so in Burman.
Mhm. I'll get me coat.)

I didn't see the Ted Hughes-based poem. Wow. The angel-kissed atoms - were they in his poem?

No, Mechtild - the Angel-kissed atoms, methinks, is an image uniquely created by Este.
I ran across Hughes' poem, looking for more bird poems, and I just thought, it could fit... the original text is here: http://www.poemhunter.com/p/m/poem.asp?poet=6616&poem=31856

Thanks, Whiteling. Hey, was Ted Hughes the person who was married to Sylvia Plath? (Again, love that icon of the falconer's hand.)

Yup, he's the one.
(I didn't know him at all *is embarrased*, and now I'm devouring his poems and am absolutely fascinated by the power of his language!)

Well, heck. I've never read his stuff at all. But I have read some Sylvia Plath and remembered that her husband was named Ted Hughes. How awful for him when she killed herself. Getting over being the survivor of a suicide must be such a struggle.

Yes, it went well, Este. Thanks for asking. I'm still a little tired from it all, though. *smooch*
