I think this is the perfect moment to use the following expression to describe your last four entries: Guh!

These pics show how adept Elijah was at an early age at effortlessly showing a very wide range of expressions. Thank you for making such beautiful screencaps. :)

You are welcome, Maewyn! Yes, he was a natural. Once I started watching his old films, because of you all at TORc and over in K-D's Faculty, I started with his youngest ones, being the "in chronological order" sort that I am. He was a wonderfully engaging kid; very cute; and a good little natural actor. It wasn't until seeing him in The War, though, as you know, that I said, "Whoa, baby! Can he ACT!" Funny, but that film was made just one year before this one, Flipper, which made me go, "Whoa, baby! Is he GORGEOUS!"

What a difference a year makes. *blush*

The Ridiculous Thoughts rock video was made the same year as Flipper, I believe, and the screencaps I made from that brought about the same reaction in me as the Flipper shots.... Mixed feelings of awe over his beauty and expressiveness, unseemly desire in the form of fantasies about him in imaginary scenarios (no, not starring me, since I'm too old for the part), and, most of all, the desire to cast him as young tween-aged Frodo, siezed me and still do. Maybe I'll post my Rid. Thoughts caps here soon. I know I sent them off to Hobmom to post at her site a year ago, since I didn't want them to go to waste. But I could post them here, too. We can't have exactly the same viewership. I love the stuff at her site, but it's far more EW than Frodo oriented.
