No, Colin Firth for Frodo, not Drogo. :) Before I saw the films, I wondered why they hadn't asked Firth to play the role.

Actually ... I can sort of see that. I can see him LOOKING the part, as a much more physically mature Frodo. Ah, my mature Frodo: I missed you in the films, babe.

And the combination of Darcy/Frodo would have made my head completely explode. GUUUUUUUUUUH.

My only reservation would be that, acting-wise, Firth's range never seems very extensive. The most awesome thing he ever did was Darcy, and he's never topped that. But maybe he just hasn't found the right director.

The more I think about it, the more hobbit-like Firth appears in my eyes. :)
